The Role

We are on the lookout for a Junior Merchandiser who will be instrumental in managing corporate orders, institutional orders, and private label projects. The role also involves overseeing the procurement process. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the apparel industry, an eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with corporate clients to understand their requirements and preferences.
• Ensure prompt processing and fulfillment of corporate orders while upholding high-quality standards.
• Handle institutional orders from start to finish, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
• Supervise private label projects, collaborating closely with clients to create custom designs and branding solutions.
• Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing materials, negotiating prices, and maintaining supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in the apparel industry, preferably in a merchandising or procurement role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Preferred

Prior experience in managing corporate, institutional, or private label orders in the apparel industry will be an added advantage.
